Fellow WAHM Raising Money For a Good Cause

Check This Out No Comments

A very close friend of mine Cara from The Household Helper is raising money for an awesome reason please read below and go to Cara’s site to learn more.

March of Dimes

The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money raised for March for Babies event will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.

A Cause Near and Dear To My Heart

My son Joey was born 12 weeks premature due to a placental abruption, a result of preeclampsia. He weighed just 2 pounds 9 ounces and was only 14 inches long (see picture in the left sidebar). While in the NICU, one of the nurses passed on some literature from The March of Dimes. From that day on, I knew I would champion this organization anyway I could.

What Would You Look For in a Affiliate Manager?

Uncategorized No Comments

Affiliate Management really seems to be the thing that people are looking for.  So I started thinking.  Maybe this is a area I need to start researching and become familiar with.

If you were looking for an affiliate manager what would you be looking to have done?

I would like to know as much as possible about all the different things you would need your affiliate manager do?  Would it be all the way from set up?   Or would it be after you have it set up?

Thank you ahead of time for your answers.

Our CBC Continues

Well Tishia and I are back at it again.  We have picked that ball right back up (oppps did a little dropping of the ball for awhile huh Tisha) and we are back to our Cross Blog Conversation.  Tishia of Tishia Saves Time just gave me a great answer to her question and also asked me an even better question that I am excited to answer.

“Where do you see yourself taking your business over the next year? By this I mean do you have plans for starting a newsletter, releasing any info products, etc.”

Tishia to me this is like a little ok Tricia get all that stuff you have in the works and get working on it.  Ok ok maybe you did not say that but that is what I heard lol.

I do have some plans for the future:

1. Create an product that I can give to any client that signs up for a newsletter (yes that is number tw0)

2. Create a monthly newsletter to send out to my clients with great info about what is going on in my VA world, What openings I have, And if I have any special offers going on right now.

3. I would like to create about 12 information products a year to give out to my clients as a thank you.  I would like to give on out ever news letter.  Or just every so often for being a great client.

4. I would like to get worked up a contact form on my site so that when a client contacts me they can fill out the form and everything would be on the form.

5. I would like to also have a couple of different forms once a client hires me for them to fill out with different information on it such as websites I would be working with, passwords, things like that.  So that I can keep them in their file and have them for quick look ups (ohhh I might do that one first lol)

I of course have many more ideas but that is what I am looking at for right now. And of course as I was typing this I came up with some more great ideas.  Isn’t that how it always happens.

Great Question Tishia.  Keep them coming. ANd here is your question.

“Name me five sites where you have learned the most about becoming a VA and working from home.  Why were these sites so important and what kind of information did you get from them?”

Balancing Work and Family

Balancing Work And Family
When being a Full Time VA I did not realize just how hard it was going to be to Balance my work and family.  I still find myself struggling to balance the two out.

There are days when I am just not sure I have balanced things out properly.  Take tonight for instance.  It is 10 oclock and I am thinking what work do I have that would not take very long but I could get done before I go to bed.

I know I need to be going to bed and doing my work in the morning but if I could just do one more thing that would be great.  NO. I have to stop.  I have to make more time for the family.  I need something to help me balance the two.

Then I found it Real Life Guidance had just what I was looking for. “Balancing Work and Family.”  You mean to tell me all this time this had been sitting right under my nose and I have not used it before.  Finally I can feel the stress of trying to balance the two lifting.

But I can’t share all the wonderful secrets I found. SO, Mom, Want to Know How You Can Find Balance Between Your Work And Family Life? Click Here To Learn How.
