January 28th, 2008 – The writing industry is one of the most competitive, and toughest to break into, yet Melissa Ingold has found success writing from home part-time so that she can be with her children. Her new training program http://www.writingfromhome.com evolved through a desire to help other moms make money using their writing talent.

“I’ve always been a writer; it’s a part of who I am,” says Melissa. “But it wasn’t until I became a mom in 2001 that I realized how important that talent would become. I was determined to stay at home after my maternity leave ended, so I did the only thing I knew how to do from home, write.”

The World Wide Web has made it possible for writers to avoid the hassles of the traditional writing and submissions process; unfortunately, many new writers find themselves becoming prey to the tangle of hidden scams, and frustrated by their lack of progress. The Internet can be a tough field to navigate if you don’t know what you’re doing or which way to go, but Melissa is determined to put an end to that through her training program for beginning mom writers.

She says, “Over the past 7 years I’ve experienced all the ups, downs, twists, turns, and yes, even the scams that catch writers in their sticky web. I’ve been frustrated, disappointed, disillusioned and ready to ‘throw in the towel’ on more than one occasion. But thankfully my journey has been nothing short of amazing, and as a result, I’ve achieved my goal of having a successful and profitable writing career.”
The Writing From Home training program has been developed out of a need for more than just job assistance and resources for mom writers. It provides step-by-step guidance to building and growing a profitable writing business from the foundation up. Moms really can contribute to the family finances, raise their children, and enjoy a challenging and rewarding writing career, all from the comfort of their own home.

The days of working for pennies and bio lines are over. For more information on the Writing From Home program, visit http://www.writingfromhome.com or email support@writingfromhome.com.

I am still a new VA but wow my business is booming.  When first starting out I was not sure if I would get any clients.  Not sure how I would handle failure.  Not sure how much money I would need to put into my business before I started making money.  I had so many questions running through my head and not sure where I would get my answers.

I found a couple of places with great answers.  First I went to  Telecommuting Answer Lady, Nell.  She rocks.  Nell was great at giving me advice, answering all my questions, and motivating me each step I took.  That would be my first place I would suggest.

The second place I would tell you to go is Mom Masterminds Main Page , or you could go to their blog, Mom Masterminds Blog. Either way I suggest you join Mom Masterminds. Since the day I joined Mom Mastermind I have been doing better and better and learning more and more.

And last but not least I would suggest Outsourcing Sweetie.  I have received more training tips and worksheets here then anywhere else.  There is so much there and as a client or a VA you have to join.  Yes it is worth it.

Those are my three suggestion take them or leave them.  But if you leave them.  You are going to be missing out.
